Gladewater ISD board approves consent agenda, adopts minutes

The Gladewater ISD board approved its consent agenda at a special meeting on Oct. 8, 2024. Vice President Jeff Cook moved to approve the consent items "as presented," specifically the minutes of the regular board meeting of Sept. 16, 2024 and the special board meeting of Sept. 30, 2024; Mr. Garth Cockerell seconded. The motion carried 7-0.
President Chris Thompson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and a quorum was confirmed. The minutes record that "No one spoke for Open Forum," and the board proceeded with business before entering closed session shortly after approving the consent agenda.
