The Goliad ISD Board of Trustees voted Dec. 9 to approve Lone Star Governance (LSG) goal progress measures and progress monitoring for Superintendent Constraint 1 (ADA). The motion, made by Jason Howard and seconded by Emika Moya, carried 7–0.
Discussion before the vote included remarks from Lisa Moya, LSG coach, who congratulated the board for being the first in the region to have a board member use a time tracker; the transcript records that the Nov. 11 meeting logged 84 minutes of public meeting time, with 39 minutes (46.43%) on student outcome and adult behavior minutes and 37 minutes (44.05%) on student outcomes. Mrs. Lyon stated that the district is "staying within the 95.61% for ADA."
