Alma OKs $8,500 for line painting; wastewater pilot shows phosphorus drop but remains above target

According to committee notes, phosphorus readings have declined from roughly 4–5 to 0.5, but the plant still needs to reach 0.1 to meet the stated target. The committee recorded the pilot as an option under consideration for further treatment adjustments.
Council members scheduled a road tour (pacer rating) to inform the five-year road plan and discussed meeting with ISG Engineering to evaluate infrastructure and grant-planning services. The line-painting approval passed by roll call vote.
