The Board approved two resolutions authorizing amendments and grant agreements for the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH). Item 2 increases and extends an agreement with Mission Neighborhood Centers for homelessness prevention assistance, adding approximately $13,100,000 for a new contract total of roughly $20,600,000 and extending the term through June 30, 2028.
Item 3 authorizes HSH to enter a standard agreement with the California Department of Housing and Community Development to accept Project Homekey grant funds of approximately $18,200,000 to acquire 685 Ellis Street for permanent supportive housing and to commit approximately $4,100,000 in city matching funds, with operations supported through 06/30/2026 and a minimum 15‑year operating subsidy. Both measures were adopted on the consent calendar.
