Hays CISD board unanimously certifies May 2 trustee election results

Board Secretary Geoff Seibel seconded the motion; it passed by a 7-0 vote with trustees Courtney Runkle, Raul Vela, Vanessa Petrea, Byron Severance, Johnny Flores, Esperanza Orosco and Geoff Seibel voting YES.
Tim Savoy, the district's Chief Communication Officer, summarized the request for canvassing and certification; trustees asked no questions before the motion was made. The board's action formally completes the administrative step of canvassing and records the official vote totals in the district register.
The special meeting convened at 5:00 PM and adjourned at 5:13 PM.
