Harleton ISD honors Students of the Month; accepts $4,120 in donations

At its March 10 meeting the Harleton ISD Board recognized Students of the Month for March: elementary recipients Haigan Ridgeway and Ireland Prine; junior high Laney Wilson; and high school student Lillyanna Alford. Certificates and gift cards were presented during the meeting.
The board approved the consent agenda by general consent, which included donations: $100 from Methodist Women to the Elementary Angel Fund and $4,020 from the Harleton Archery Booster Club to support the Archery 2026 State Tournament. The minutes also note recognition of organizational accomplishments: Heather Knopp (One Act Play), Christi Speer (Band), and Anita Ferrell (FBLA).
