The Hallettsville Independent School District board unanimously approved construction documents for additions and renovations at Hallettsville Junior High School, moving the project into the construction phase.
Jim Singleton, Taylor Pillar, Wes Robinson and Noble Brosch provided the board an overview of the junior high construction project, outlining scope and timeline. "Motion by Dennis Herring and second by Justin Smith to approve the Construction Documents for Hallettsville Junior High School Additions and Renovation for SZS Architecture. Passed 5-0," the record shows.
The board also approved a guaranteed maximum price for the project with Weaver & Jacobs Constructors as construction manager at-risk and gave authority to the superintendent to execute the contract. "Motion by Justin Smith and second by Holly Cliffe to approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price for Hallettsville Junior High School Additions and Renovations for Weaver & Jacobs Constructors, Construction Manage At-Risk and give authority to the superintendent to execute the contract.
