Summer intern Kai Roper presented the results of an eight-week internship in the supervisor's office: a project summary sheet consolidating grant and project status, a filing system that aligns physical red-rope folders with digital grant folders, and a grant timeline documenting application and reimbursement milestones.
Roper said the sheet will increase accessibility and reduce single-person knowledge-holding, and that a resolutions column and minor additions will be completed in the next two weeks. Roper also adapted New York State Department of Health cooling-center guidelines for the town procedures binder to help staff respond to heat-wave events.
