Board approves CSEA unit agreement, police lieutenant contract and accepts a highway resignation

The board voted to authorize the supervisor and deputy supervisor to sign a collective bargaining agreement between the Town of Lloyd and the Civil Service Employees Association Inc., local 1000, AFSCME for Unit 8964, effective Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2026. The chair introduced the resolution and members approved it by voice vote during the workshop.
Separately, the board approved a labor agreement with Police Lieutenant Christopher Miller covering the period 07/01/2026 to 06/30/2029; the chair said the salary schedule was enumerated in the agenda and the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board also accepted the resignation of Ryan Riley from the highway department, effective 07/31/2026. Several items (d, e, f) and a local-law change remain part of an open public hearing and were tabled to the next regular meeting for formal vote and closure.
