Commissioners and council approve topics for biennial Housing rules review, direct staff to analyze

Stacy Stoker provided staff comment on the Housing Rules & Regulations biennial update and led discussion on topic identification. Commissioner Natalia Macker moved (seconded by Commissioner Len Carlman) to approve the topic list as amended and to direct staff to provide an analysis of each topic for presentation at the August joint meeting; the County vote was all in favor. On behalf of the Town, Councilmember Jonathan Schechter moved (seconded by Councilmember Alyson Spery) a parallel motion; the Town vote was recorded as 4-0 in favor.
The motion directs staff to prepare written analyses on each approved topic and to return those analyses to the joint bodies at the August meeting for further discussion. The minutes do not record the detailed contents of the topic list; staff will be responsible for preparing the analyses identified in the motion.
