City launches CIP dashboard pilot with Inviso to track capital projects

City staff and vendor partners demonstrated the Inviso platform on Sept. 3, showing a city-tailored capital-improvements program dashboard that displays mapped projects, status updates, budgets, estimated completion dates and staff-submitted progress notes. The platform is designed for internal project management and public-facing transparency.
Ellie Schopel (Inviso customer success) described features including interactive maps, executive-summary reports and unlimited internal user accounts. She told the commission the dashboard allows staff to self-serve project updates and automatically surface progress and completion dates; staff noted the tool will replace manual spreadsheets and improve resident access to CIP information.
Commissioners praised the tool and asked for follow-up on rollout and public access; staff will coordinate training and then present a plan for public publishing of the dashboard view.
