Meg Boyd, director of the Highland Park Education Foundation, announced that funds raised during last year's Mad for Plaid campaign enabled the naming of the field at Highlander Stadium as Randy Allen Field. Board members thanked the foundation and donors; the minutes note the contribution was made possible by the Lead for Tomorrow Endowment Campaign and support from many donors.
The naming was included among consent agenda items approved by the Board. Board members acknowledged the foundation's support for district programs and facilities.
