Highland Park Education Foundation reports endowment campaign surpassed $40 million goal

Trustee Michael Denton reported to the board that the Highland Park Education Foundation's 'Lead for Tomorrow' endowment campaign surpassed its $40 million goal more than a year early and has reached $47.8 million in gifts and pledges. He told trustees that total commitments now exceed $95 million and are expected to surpass $100 million.
Denton said the Foundation celebrated the campaign's success with events that highlighted community support, student involvement and district leadership, and announced a new Student Leadership Board for 2026–27 to educate students about philanthropy and school finance. The Foundation also noted more than 40 endowed scholarships totaling over $175,000 available to graduating seniors.
