The clerk stated that Selig told officers she was “under the impression she cannot have fun because she works nights.” Because the defendant did not appear, Thomas said, “Show, defendant fails to appear, finding a factual basis for the charge,” and entered the default judgments as requested by the police department, which had sought an increased fine in the first matter.
The hearing record notes that payments are expected within 30 days and that defendants have 35 days from Aug. 6, 2026, to file an administrative review action with the court of DuPage County.
