Cleveland County commissioners approve consent docket including IT migration contract and FSA/HSA administration terms

The Cleveland County Board of County Commissioners approved a broad consent docket at its Sept. 22 meeting that included technology and benefits contracts, surplus equipment declarations and routine departmental agreements. Commissioner Rod Cleveland moved to approve the consent items; Commissioner Rusty Grissom seconded and the motion carried with all three commissioners voting yes.

Among the items approved was a CDW‑G Statement of Work to help migrate the county's Exchange Server 2016 to Exchange Online and to decommission the local server. The service-fee estimate listed in the procurement notice was $28,160.00 per year, based on 92 senior‑engineer billable units at $250 per hour (subtotal $23,000) and 24 project‑manager units at $215 per hour (subtotal $5,160). The consent agenda also authorized use of flexplan Administrators, Inc., for FSA/HSA administration; Aflac will pay the waived $150 plan setup fee, a $150 annual administration fee and the monthly service fees per active participant (FSA/DCAP $5.00 and HSA $5.00) as described in the packet.

The consent docket covered multiple routine items across departments, including surplus/disposal declarations for office equipment, a commercial cleaning contract for the Election Board and contracts for Health Department programming at The Well. The Board recorded its approval of all consent items by roll call: Jacob McHughes, yes; Rusty Grissom, yes; Rod Cleveland, yes.
