During the July 17 meeting trustees approved the proposed tax rate and set August 18, 2025 as the public meeting date to discuss the proposed tax rate and 2025–26 budget. CFO Hunter Cooley presented the preliminary budget for 2025–26 (fourth viewing) as part of administrative reports and the board formally scheduled the public hearing on the tax rate and budget.
No final budget or tax rate was adopted at this meeting; the public hearing is planned for Aug. 18, 2025 to allow public input and final adoption after the hearing.
