The supervisor reported town expenditures through February and compared year-to-date spending to annual budgets. General-fund year-to-date expenditures totaled $169,361.66, representing 24.29% of the town-wide annual budget of $697,100. Highway-year-to-date expenses were $288,202.29, or 20.62% of the highway budget of $1,397,841.
The supervisor noted that the highway spending percentage was driven in part by significant salt purchases for winter maintenance. Board members discussed these figures during the workshop as part of routine financial oversight and asked the supervisor to provide surplus equipment lists and related financial details at the next meeting.
