Heritage project near completion; hand tree-clearing to finish by end of month

Roush said the crew is finished with mechanical work and will be "just hand felling now," with the crew scheduled for hand felling next week and product closeout by the end of next week. Separate pre-construction meetings and coordination with state groups were discussed for other tree-clearing activities; one staff report said about one-third of an acre will be cleared by hand with work starting by the end of the month and finishing before April 1.
Board members also discussed RFP postings for compliance monitoring for Heritage and Hemlock projects and logistics for reviewing applications prior to the next workshop.
