Jefferson ISD trustees reorganize officers; two trustees sworn in

Trustee Joey Romano moved to retain Tolesia Smith‑Davis as board president, name Kirstin Johnson vice president and appoint Lauren Glover secretary; Trustee Rusty Mauldin seconded the motion, which carried 7‑0.
As a non‑action item earlier in the evening, new board member Heather Biddy and returning trustee Rusty Mauldin were sworn in. The meeting minutes record the swearing without additional remarks. According to the minutes, no public comment was offered on the item.
