Board President Tolesia Smith‑Davis called the Jefferson ISD regular meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the board completed officer reorganization during the May 12 session. Trustee Joey Romano moved to retain Tolesia Smith‑Davis as board president, name Kirstin Johnson vice president and appoint Lauren Glover secretary; Trustee Rusty Mauldin seconded the motion, which carried 7‑0.
