Commissioner Nancy L. Hier moved to utilize a proposed levy rate of 54.6 mills for the purpose of sending Revenue Neutral Rate notices and required budget publications; Commissioner Boyd Ivan Davis seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The action establishes the levy rate to be used in statutory notice procedures, not a final adoption of the county's tax levy.
Commissioner Davis moved to approve the minutes from the July 13 meeting, and commissioners reviewed and signed expenses for July 2-15 along with daily statements dated July 10, 13, 14, 15 and 16, 2026. At 10:55 a.m. Commissioner Hier moved to adjourn until Monday, August 3 at 9:00 a.m.; Commissioner Davis seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
