Residents urge action on teacher pay, cite local–regional salary gaps

Board members acknowledged the issue as a shared concern and said the will exists to address pay, but noted resource constraints. The superintendent reiterated that pay increases are a matter of resources and that the board's intent is supportive of teacher retention while the district explores options.
