Kennedale ISD trustees elect officers in unanimous reorganization

Trustee Sean Glovier called the Kennedale Independent School District Board of Trustees to order May 20, 2026, at the KHS Media Center and the board completed its annual reorganization of officers.
During the reorganization, Trustee Esteban Cerda moved and Trustee Debbie Villagomez seconded that Sean Glovier be named Board President; the motion passed unanimously with all trustees present voting in favor. Trustee Maria Douglas moved and Maria Cruz Perez seconded to name Darryl Owens Board Vice President, and Trustee Natalie McKay moved and Esteban Cerda seconded to name Debbie Villagomez Board Secretary; both motions also passed unanimously. The changes were recorded as official board action for the May meeting.
