Lake Travis ISD recognizes state finalists in track and baseball

The board honored Lake Travis High School athletes who placed at the 2026 UIL Track & Field State Meet and the varsity baseball team for reaching the 6A-Division 1 state final (32-12-1 season).
Board members recognized student-athletes and coaches from Lake Travis High School for recent state-level performances. Track & field athletes who competed at the 2026 UIL State Meet on May 16 were named and Head Coach Aaron Macik and assistant coaches were acknowledged. Abram Reagan was highlighted for earning a state runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash.
The board also recognized the varsity baseball team for advancing to the 6A-Division 1 state championship game on June 6 at Dell Diamond, completing a 32-12-1 season and earning the program's first state runner-up finish. Head Coach Ryan Rogers and assistant coaches were commended for their leadership throughout the season.
