The Lake Travis ISD Board approved a $2,199,894 Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) with American Constructors for the replacement and upgrade of the fire detection and alarm system at Lake Travis High School, including voice evacuation capabilities and addressable devices to identify alarm locations.
Board members were told the work will take approximately 11 months to complete. The motion to approve the GMP was made by Trustee Erin Archer and seconded by Trustee Tiffany Bennett and passed 7-0.
