Pam Sanchez, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, summarized district finances through May 31, 2026, noting General Fund expenditures at 65.1% of budget year-to-date and accrued wages payable of $17,890,176. The board earlier approved a separate amendment to the 2025–2026 General Fund and Debt Service Fund budgets to reconcile actual activity and year-end estimates; that motion passed 7-0. The board adopted the 2026–2027 budgets by a 7-0 vote, with trustees noting that the budget must be adopted before the tax rate and remains amendable by the board.
