Superintendent and principals report on Regents, activities and community events
Summary
Superintendent Robert McAuliffe and principals reported on Regents score reviews, graduations, student events and fundraising; Leo’s Club raised nearly $1,000 for Relay for Life and five students will attend CVES summer school.
Superintendent Robert McAuliffe highlighted recent school events including Class Day, the sports banquet, a vigil for Kennedy Columbus and multiple student activities in June. Mr. McAuliffe thanked staff including Krista Ringer, Kerry Adams, Megan Walls, Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Chapman for their support during difficult recent events and praised the resilience of the 2025 graduates.
Middle/High School Principal Megan Walls reviewed Regents scores for grades 3–8 and 8–12. The Leo’s Club organized Relay for Recess in the elementary and raised close to $1,000 for Relay for Life. The district will not run summer school through Chazy this year, although five students will participate via the CEWW BOCES summer program.
