Board approves officers, committees and depositories for 2025–26

The Chazy Union Free School District Board approved multiple appointments and operational designations for the 2025–26 school year at its July 9 meeting. The board designated TD Bank and the Bank of New York (CLASS) as official district depositories and named the Audit Committee membership consisting of Daniel Bernard, Jason Bruce, Lee Barcomb and alternate Craig Giroux.
The board also designated municipal and professional services, naming Stafford-Owens, PLLC; Girvin & Ferlazzo, PC; and Honeywell Law Firm, PLLC as school attorneys at stated hourly rates, and Boulrice & Wood, CPA PC as the independent auditing firm at a contract amount of $13,000. Motion to approve the appointments carried unanimously.
