The board moved and approved several non-controversial items Nov. 13. Kaci Cook moved to cast 20 votes for candidate Alex Buck and 20 votes for candidate Bruce Yeager for the Denton Central Appraisal District Board of Directors; Brooke Fouts seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record the vote counts as 20 for each named candidate.
The board also adopted a resolution regarding Investment Policy CDA (LOCAL) and approved independent PFIA training providers for investment-responsibility instruction. The consent agenda was approved as presented and included minutes from Oct. 9, budget amendments, the 2024–2025 SHAC Committee members, and a Region 10 ESC multi-region purchasing cooperative agreement for SY 2025–2026.
