The Lampasas Independent School District Board of Education met in a called meeting on Jan. 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the district Administration Building. The Board President announced the board would go into a closed session under the authority of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, to discuss agenda item no. 2, the superintendent's evaluation (personnel matters under Chapter 551.074). The board returned to open session at 6:27 p.m., and the minutes record that no action was taken on that agenda item.
"The Board would go into a closed meeting under the authority of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, which authorizes the holding of such a closed meeting for the purpose of discussing agenda item no. 2 —6 Superintendent's Evaluation, Personnel Matters, Chapter 551.074," the Board President announced. After return to open session, Board member Sam Walker moved to adjourn; Randy Morris seconded. The minutes show that all board members present (—6 Ryan Shahan, Sam Walker, Randy Morris, Jeff Rutland, Harvey Stinnett and Mickey Edwards) voted "Yes." The meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
