Lamesa ISD trustees approve SB12 resolution, multiple parent consent forms and property sale

The Lamesa Independent School District Board of Trustees on Sept. 18 unanimously approved an SB12 resolution, three parent consent forms and a contract to sell previously awarded district property. Each motion was moved and seconded during the regular meeting and recorded as a 7-0 vote in favor.
Trustee Ron Mann moved to approve the SB12 Resolution and Ernest Ogeda seconded; the board passed the resolution 7-0. The board also approved the School Counseling Services Form (moved by Kevin Telchik, seconded by Ernest Ogeda), the School Health-Related Services Form (moved by Ernest Ogeda, seconded by Melissa Cazares) and the Participation in Clubs Form (moved by Ron Mann, seconded by Cindy Martinez), each by a 7-0 vote. Trustees additionally approved the contract and its contents for the sale of previously awarded district property after a motion by Ernest Ogeda and second by Kevin Telchik; that motion also passed 7-0.
The meeting record shows no recorded dissent on these items. The board later entered a closed session and reconvened with no action reported; the meeting adjourned at 9:31 p.m.
