Board approves MOU with Lewisville Education Foundation; selects TASB delegate and alternate

Trustees unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding with the Lewisville Education Foundation and named Mrs. Katherine Sells as TASB delegate and Dr. Buddy Bonner as alternate for the Sept. 28, 2024 Delegate Assembly in San Antonio.
The Board authorized a memorandum of understanding between Lewisville ISD and the Lewisville Education Foundation in a motion by Mrs. Michelle Alkhatib, seconded by Mrs. Allison Lassahn. The minutes state the motion "to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Lewisville ISD and the Lewisville Education Foundation" carried unanimously (7-0).
In a separate action, trustees selected Mrs. Katherine Sells as the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) delegate and Dr. Buddy Bonner as her alternate for the 2024 TASB Delegate Assembly scheduled for Sept. 28 in San Antonio. That motion was moved by Mrs. Allison Lassahn and seconded by Mrs. Sheila Taylor and also carried unanimously (7-0). These actions were recorded under Action Items and no dissent or amendments were noted.
