The Liberty Hill ISD Board of Trustees approved several construction and design contracts at its Nov. 17 meeting, all funded by the district's 2021 bond program.
For the Liberty Hill High School band practice pad, the board approved a civil engineering services agreement with Langan Engineering for $72,000 and authorized the superintendent or designee to negotiate final contract terms. The motion passed 7-0.
The board also awarded Construction Manager at Risk contracts for three campus projects: Bill Burden Elementary (Balfour Beatty; $10,000 preconstruction services fee), Rancho Sienna Elementary (Core Construction; $7,000 preconstruction services fee) and Santa Rita Elementary (Joeris; $10,000 preconstruction services fee). Each award was recorded as funded by the 2021 bond program and approved by a 7-0 vote. In each case the board authorized the superintendent or designee to negotiate final contract terms.
The minutes record the contract amounts for preconstruction services and the funding source but do not include full contract documents; final contract terms and scope will be negotiated consistent with board authorization.
