In routine reorganizational business on July 10, the Cherry Valley-Springfield board designated NBT Bank, Cherry Valley and NYCLASS as district depositories and named The Daily Star, Cooperstown Crier and the district website (www.cvscs.org) for legal notices. The board also adopted a regular meeting schedule with monthly meetings beginning Aug. 7, 2025 through June 4, 2026 and designated the Community Health Center, Cherry Valley as the school's medical facility.
By motion the board authorized the superintendent to make budget transfers up to $2,000, approve conference attendance and certify payroll. The board also approved bonding levels: Tax Collector and Treasurer at $1,000,000 each, other employees $100,000 per employee and courier coverage of $25,000 per employee. These financial delegations carried by unanimous vote and are intended to ensure continuity of operations through the fiscal year.
