Superintendent TheriJo Snyder announced the results of the district's annual vote during the June 18 meeting. She reported the district budget passed with 153 votes in favor and 51 opposed, and that voters approved purchasing two school buses (Yes 152, No 47) and the use of the Capital Reserve Equipment Fund to buy a tractor (Yes 145, No 45).
Snyder also read the board-seat tallies: Adrienne Haig — 118; Megan Bosc — 145; Amy Garretson — 101. The superintendent thanked the community for passing the budget and noted Department of Transportation results (100% passing rate) in the same update. The board did not alter the vote tallies; the results were presented to the board as official counts announced by administration.
