Highway superintendent reports ditching, culvert and road grading work

LaMont listed completed tasks including ditching on Courts Lane and Old Barrington Road, installation of an underdrain at the Theilman/Old Barrington intersection, ditching and a new culvert on Catskill View Road, and grading gravel roads for a second pass. He also reported ongoing mowing of road sides in all zones, cold patching operations, and that the crew installed a new roof on the lift station in the Village of Philmont. The highway report was included in the departmental reports filed with the town clerk.
The board did not take separate formal action on the highway report at the June 11 meeting but recorded these items for operational tracking and budgeting.
