Chaffee council approves minutes, pays routine bills and accepts collector's report

The Chaffee City Council approved the minutes of its previous meeting after a motion from Council member Andy Sadler, seconded by Mark Perkins. Mayor Samuel Glency opened the June 1 meeting, which was held at 222 W. Yoakum and broadcast on Facebook Live.
The City Clerk presented bills including an MFA Oil invoice for $2,879.42 and a Republic Services invoice for $17,627.89. Eric Seyer moved to pay the bills and Danny Finley seconded; the council indicated unanimous support and the motion carried. The council also approved monthly bills on a motion by Danny Finley, seconded by Ron Davis, and approved the May Collector's Report on a motion by Danny Finley, seconded by Eric Seyer. All motions were recorded as passed unanimously.
