Llano ISD approves interlocal agreements with Llano County for dispatch, radio, paving and emergency management

The Llano ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved four interlocal agreements with Llano County as part of the consent agenda Oct. 28.
The agreements include: an annual dispatch services payment of $2,500 to Llano County; radio‑system access at $2,460 per year (noted as $20.50 per subscriber unit per month for 10 radios); a street paving and improvements arrangement under which the county may contribute up to $15,000 per project with invoicing to the district; and an emergency management agreement under which Llano ISD adopts and will assist implementation of the county emergency management plan.
The dispatch and radio agreements specify annual reviews of costs by the Llano County Sheriff with recommendations provided at least 60 days before expiration. The paving agreement outlines an estimate-of-costs process and payment within 30 days of invoice. The emergency management agreement names the county judge as the overall authority during a declared emergency consistent with state law and confirms that district officials will assist as prescribed in the plan.
All four agreements were included in the board packet and listed among consent items approved by motion of Dean Campbell and seconded by Lance Dillard.
