Technology Services Director Melissa Schwaller reported that the county has migrated its finance platform to the BS&A Cloud and began live operation earlier in the week.
"BS&A Cloud went live on Monday and will reduce our SQL licensing and server load," Schwaller said. The committee was told the migration is intended to lower on-premises server demand and associated licensing costs for the county's financial software.
County staff did not provide dollar estimates for anticipated savings at the meeting. Committee members reviewed the update and moved on to other items on the agenda; no formal vote or further action on the migration was recorded.
