Walton County commissioners approved the Administrative Consent Agenda which included the June 2, 2026 meeting minutes; contracts and purchases of $25,000 or greater; reapplication for the CHINS grant for Juvenile Court; acceptance of two 60-foot rights-of-way for Franklin Estates Phase 2 and Pinehurst Subdivision; and multiple agreements and renewals including engagement and services letters. The consent agenda passed unanimously.
Separately during the meeting, the board approved the Sheriff's Office request to reallocate position control and grade changes and approved an agreement with Synovus (Ovation) to accept credit and debit cards at county terminals. The board also appointed John Ward, County Manager, and Ben McDaniel, Vice President of Economic Development, to the NEGRC CEDS Committee and reappointed Darren Vinson to the Walton County DFCS Board for a five-year term. All recorded motions on these items passed with unanimous votes.
