Trustees considered a resolution extending the deadline for renewal of short-term licenses and associated payments from July 1 to Aug. 29, 2026. "We felt like it's a reasonable request based on kind of the hardship," Staff said, introducing the resolution. A trustee moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded and trustees indicated affirmative votes during roll call, and the resolution was adopted.
Staff will publish the amended deadline and inform affected license holders of the extension to avoid enforcement or fee consequences during the transition period.
