At the Aug. 28 meeting, the Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees approved multiple employee health and wellness items for 2026, voting 7-0 on medical clinic services (zero copay clinics), the Health Insurance Plan, Wellness Program, Wellness Credit Program, Prescription Drug Plan and Dental Plan, and the premium structures for those plans.
Trustee Jason Ratliff moved approval of the plan packages and Trustee Lala Chavez seconded; premium structures were later approved with a motion by Lala Chavez and second by Ryan Curry. The minutes show the measures were presented together as part of the administrative action items and were recorded as approved without objection.
