Louise ISD trustees sworn in; board elects officers with split vote for president

At the Nov. 18 regular meeting of the Louise Independent School District Board of Trustees, Judge Wessels presented certificates of election and administered oaths of office to newly elected trustees.
Following the swearing-in, the board completed its reorganization. Tanya Bram was elected board president in a 4–3 vote after nominations. The board selected Stephen Lutringer as vice president by a 4–3 vote. Mark Bain was named secretary by a 6–0 vote with one abstention, and Tori Koudela was named secretary pro-tem by a 7–0 vote. The reorganizational votes were taken as part of the post-election proceedings after the canvass of results.
