Council members urged creating an intern job description to address long-standing paper records. A council member recalled that many minutes and resolutions exist only in bound books and suggested hiring an intern to digitize them. Steve said he has asked HR to draft a job description and expected a completed description in a month or two to include in the city’s position book.
Members also used the roundtable to announce community events. A council member invited residents to a tournament at Merry Mag Park (registration and prize details given) and another member outlined the Rhythm and Rib Fest schedule downtown. The council also briefly noted items related to the London Gateway New Community Authority and an associated bond filing; staff said they would check records to confirm filings with the clerk.
