The Mount Vernon Utilities Commission approved the July 2 meeting minutes and adjourned after a brief session at about 8:34 a.m. on Aug. 6, the chair said.
After calling the roll — with Mister Sawyers, Mister Platt, Mister Reinhart, Miss Busenberg and Mr. Gant recorded as present — the commission found it had a quorum. "All in favor of approving the minutes from the July 2 meeting, signify by saying aye," the chair said; members responded and the minutes were approved.
The chair announced there was no new business and no old business to take up. With no substantive agenda items to consider, a motion and a second to adjourn were offered and the commission voted to close the meeting. The chair described the session as "making history as 1 of the most efficient meetings in the City Of Mount Vernon." The meeting was called to a close at approximately 8:34 a.m.
The record shows only procedural actions (roll call, minutes approval, adjournment) and no staff presentations, public testimony, or policy discussions were heard during this session.
