Mansfield ISD recognizes students and teams for state and national accomplishments

The Board recognized students and teams for achievements at state and national competitions during the June 23 meeting. Recognized individuals and groups included STEM Invention Convention participants (Anna Lee, Makayla Young, Anna Lackey, Heba Hamdan), FFA and SkillsUSA competitors, ProStart participants, Summit High School boys basketball (state champions), Timberview boys track (state champions), multiple state track medalists (including Destiny Ojo and Da'Nayah Batiste), and Mansfield High School JROTC Lady Tigers for a 2nd Place National Championship in Daytona Beach.
No motions were associated with recognitions; the acknowledgments were presented as part of the district recognition agenda and serve to highlight student accomplishments from the 2025–26 school year.
