The Magnolia ISD Board highlighted student and staff achievements during the March 23 meeting. Magnolia Jr. High seventh‑grader Aubrey Grimm and Nichols Sawmill Elementary fourth‑grader Cash Rowe were recognized as March Students of the Month. Magnolia High floral design and culinary students provided arrangements and macarons for the meeting.
ASBO International Vice President Karen Smith presented the Business Office with an Award of Excellence in Financial Management and an Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations. Fine Arts Director Bob Medina showcased student honors including Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Best‑in‑Class finalists, Texas Art Education Association Youth Art Month recognition and TX Music Educators Association All‑State choir honorees; the district also noted a UIL Sponsor Excellence Award.
Dr. Brandon Garza and Principal Coni Felinski recognized Tera Reynolds as the district’s March Teacher of the Month. The minutes record these presentations and recognitions as part of the public agenda prior to the board’s recess at 7:15 p.m.
