The Magnolia ISD Board approved the district’s March 2026 financial reports as part of the consent agenda on April 13.
Assistant Superintendent of Operations Erich Morris presented the financial package and recommended that "the March 2026 payroll earnings and operating expenses in the amount of $15,466,649 be approved," and included a check register total of $3,043,567. The General Fund year‑to‑date revenue and expenditure summaries were presented alongside Food Service and Debt Service fund overviews and the district’s investment summary as of March 31, 2026.
Morris’s submitted materials to trustees included projected year‑end fund balances and detailed dashboards showing YTD revenues by source and expenditures by function; the General Fund revenue YTD was reported at about $109.15 million and total expenditures YTD at about $91.83 million, producing an ending fund balance in the materials. The food service and debt service fund summaries were also reviewed; staff certified the reports and recommended approval.
The board approved the financials as part of Consent Agenda motion No. 6187, recorded as passing with all trustees voting 'For.' The minutes do not record additional debate or amendments to the financial reports.
