Lovejoy trustees select delegate and nominate trustee for TASB Region 10

At the June 15 meeting the Board of Trustees selected Marvin Bobo as the delegate and Julie McLaughlin as alternate for the 2026 Delegate Assembly to the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Convention. The Board also nominated Marvin Bobo for TASB Board—Region 10 Position D; both motions passed unanimously 7–0.
Motions were made by trustees and seconded as recorded in the minutes; these are governance and representation actions for TASB activities and do not alter district policy or budget.
