Trustees hear student achievement, staff survey and program updates; honor National Merit finalists and baseball champions

Dr. Laurie Tinsley and other administrators delivered multiple end-of-year presentations to the Board on June 15. Dr. Tinsley presented a Student Achievement and HB 3 goals update, a Gifted and Talented program update, and a Campus Improvement Plan end-of-year summary. Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer Heather Cox presented staff survey results.
The Board also recognized Lovejoy High School National Merit finalists and the baseball team for winning the UIL 5A State Championship. The minutes list the recognitions and note district staff retirements acknowledged by the superintendent, including Dr. Laurie Tinsley and Anna Koenig.
