During the agenda-review, trustees were shown the consent-agenda donations that will be presented at the regular meeting. Recorded donations included: Susie Byrd’s in-kind donation of Starbucks gift cards valued at $500; Valvoline Express Care’s in-kind donation of Starbucks and Chick-fil-A gift cards valued at $50; Gucci’s Pizza’s donation of a 50" TV valued at $200; a joint donation from Bettye and Leroy Fisher of Wendy’s, IHOP, Burger King and McDonald’s gift cards valued at $130; and a donation from Nico’s Superior Pools of Jucy’s and Whataburger gift cards valued at $100.
The minutes show these gifts are intended for the district’s Attendance Incentive program and were listed under financial consent items along with unreconciled monthly financial reports for August 2024. The board will review the donations and the August financial reports at the regular meeting; the minutes note the financial reports may be updated for Monday’s meeting.
